Stone Marble Mosaic Tiles are premium tumbled stone sold by the pound in loose bags. There are approximately 80 stones per pound, which covers about 1/4 sq. ft. with a grout spacing of 1/16". Note that piece count varies due to variations in tumbling time at the factory! (If the stone does not tumble as long, you will have slightly larger stones with sharper corners, but fewer pieces per pound.)
Tumbled stone often has a dusty looking surface, but you can darken and intensify the natural color with stone enhancers, which is a type of sealer used on stone. A regular grout and tile sealer won't change the stone's appearance. You must seal tumbled stone with a regular sealer or a stone enhancer BEFORE GROUTING to avoid staining. Both products are available at most building material stores. Note that you shouldn't get the sealer any place you want grout to stick, so the best way to do that is to paint it on the faces of the stones with a small paint brush or sponge after you glue them down.
