Ribbon Stones are a type of "end-of-day glass," which is a term used to describe swirled or mottled glass left over from a daily manufacturing process and typically used to make decorative items that can tolerate or even benefit from curious variations in the glass. Consequently, Ribbon Stones have all sorts of swirls and rich color like premium stained glass.
