C3 Metallic and Iridized

C3™ Metallic and Iridescent Recycled-Glass Mosaic Tile by Kaleidoscope® is sold in units of quarter-pound bags of loose tiles. C3 is the ultimate mosaic material with stunning colors made from 99% recycled glass. C3 has the luminous color intensity of traditional smalti, but it is less expensive, more durable and floor-safe for commercial installation.

The bottoms of the tiles are a little rough and grity. This helps your cement bond to them better.

Each TILE is 12 mm or 0.47" (just under 1/2") by 6 mm thick. Click thumbnail pics to read more.

NOTE: Iridized and metallic finishes are frost-proof and durable, yet they are only on the top surface of the glass. If you cut the tile into pieces the glass inside will not have the finish. Often the sides of tiles are uncoated or coated much less than the top face of the tile.
