Glass mosaic tile by Hakatai® are sold as loose tiles in 1-pound bags containing on average between 140 and 150 tiles. The tiles are 3/4 inch and their backs have ridges to help glue bond more securely. Very economical and colorful, these tiles can be mixed and matched with other brands of vitreous. The tiles can be cut into halves, quarters, triangles and irregular shapes using the Mosaic Glass Cutter we sell. A regular tile nipper should not be used because they tend to crush glass mosaic tile and create too much waste.
