Mosaic Tools, Grout & Glue

Glass tile should be cut with our Mosaic Glass Cutter because the ordinary tile nippers tend to crush the glass more often than not. Most of the work in making a mosaic is placing the tiles. We use Weldbond for projects not subjected to excess moisture because it is easier to work with than concrete or construction adhesives. Grouting is the last step and is best done outdoors where you can hose down the mess and the dust. We wear a dust mask when mixing grout to keep from breathing the dust and wear dishwashing gloves to apply the wet grout. We also sell safety glasses that should be worn when cutting tile. Mosaic work can be safe and easy with just a little bit of care. We have a separate page for STAINED GLASS CUTTING TOOLS.
