Translucent glass gem marbles are the most colorful of all the glass gems and sparkle like hard candy. Use these gems in sculptures between more subtle materials for brilliant flashes of color. The effect is stunning in soft light. Slightly thicker than most glass mosaic tile, the depth of the gems ensures that light reflecting from the interior surface has maximum color. Glass gem marbles are sometimes called craft marbles or accent marbles or glass gems. All these names refer to a glass gem that is flat on the back side for gluing to surfaces. Our glass gem marbles are great for picture frames, backsplashes, mirrors, encrusted sculptures, mosaic stepping stones, and even pictorial mosaics.

The gem marbles are sold in 12oz. bags, an average of 70+ gems. This is a nominal count only; the bags can contain less than 80 pieces when the gems are large. The gems have great variation in size by manufacturer batch. The average dimension is a diameter of 9/16", but this can vary by as much as 20%.
