Stained Glass in 6" square sheets for use in mosaic work. AMERICAN MADE! Our Kokomo and Wissmach glass is premium quality with much less variation than typically found in Asian glass. Opaque on opaque surfaces. Stained glass can be cut with a Mosaic Glass Cutter, but most people first use the Pistol-Grip cutter and Running pliers to cut the glass into stips so that more pieces are rectangular.

CAUTION: Stained glass is usually sharper than regular mosaic tile, so added care must be used in cutting and handling. Also, extra care must be used in grouting to ensure that sharp edges are not left exposed. At the studio, we usually cut up sheets into tiles and then swirl the tiles around in a plastic bucket with a little water to slightly dull any razor edges.
