Glass mosaic tile by Kaleidoscope are of the type historically referred to as vitreous glass or venetian glass.Â This brand comes FACE-mounted on paper sheets of 25 tilesÂ for rapid installation. The paper can be removed by soaking in water to yield loose tiles. The backs of these glass mosaic tiles are embossed with ridges to helpÂ the cement or adhesiveÂ bond more securely.Â TheyÂ are commonly used in pools, buildings, craft projects and fine art. A full pallet of colors is available, allowing the artist to create complex images. We recommend using our wheel-blade Mosaic Glass Cutter to cutÂ all the glass mosaicÂ tile we sell.Â (Regular tile nippers are for ceramic tile, and they tend to crush glass tile.)
