Running Pliers are used to snap apart pieces of stained glass after is has been scored with Pistol Grip Cutters. To cut stained glass: Simply piece the glass on a work table and score the glass by streaking firmly with the Pistol Grip Cutters. Then the glass is snapped along the score using the Running Pliers. Rectangular mosaic tile is usually made by cutting the sheets into strips using the Pistol Grip Cutters and Running Pliers, and then cutting the strips up with the Mosaic Glass Cutters. Many people get by using only the Mosaic Glass Cutters, but that may result in more triangular and irregular pieces than rectangular tiles.
