Assorted gemstones from India

Assorted gemstones of various sizes and colors from India.  A good value. Our gemstone mix includes White and Brown Fossil Agate, Fancy Jasper, Rose Quartz, Moss Agate, Amethyst, Aventurines (blue, peach, white, green), Red Jasper, Red and Gray Stripped Hematite, Bloodstone, Clear and White Quartz. SIZES VARY WITHIN THE MIX but most mosaic artists should be able to use over 90% of the material without having to break any stones. Gemstones and mosaics:  Tumbled gemstones make colorful and interesting accents for "crazy-quilt" designs in mosaic backsplashes, picture frames and tables. The best-sized stones to use in mosaics made from our vitreous glass mosaic tile are probably those in the range of 1/2 to 3/4 inch, but larger sizes work well also, depending on what other mosaic materials you are using.  It's ok if the stone adds a little texture to an otherwise perfectly flat surface.  Just make sure that you glue them down securely so that they don't slip out during grouting.  Sold by weight, not by piece count.  Keep in mind you are buying a natural material, and stones may vary from the picture shown.  No two stones are exactly alike!
