tumbled beach glass

Tumbled glass, sometimes called "beach glass", is a cheap alternative to glass mosaic tile, and it can be used in serious pictorial mosaics as well as craft projects needing colorful accents.  Most all commercial beach glass is made from recycled glass that has been tumbled to reduce sharp edges and provide the familiar frosted finish of glass found on the beach.  Our material is made from recycled bottles and flat stock from a glass factory in Mexico.

Coverage:

• One 12-oz bag covers 90 sq inches = 0.625 sq feet.
• Two 12-oz bags will cover 1 sq foot with some left over.
• There is 70.4 oz in each 4.4 lb bag.
• A 4.4 lb bag will cover about 3.7 sq feet.
