Glass nuggets are made from the same glass as the glass gem marbles, but they are molded into irregular shapes like small pebbles. The nuggets aren't flat like regular mosaic tile, and they are thicker than most tile. This means the nuggets are best used in stepping stones or mosaic projects made from thinset where you can press the irregular shape down into concrete. The nuggets are sold by weight; the count per bag is approximately 40+ gems, typically around 42.
*Keep in mind that these aren't officially certified by the manufacturer as building material, but they are inert glass, and should be durable for use anywhere glass tile could be used.
